Hydro Jetting in Galt

High-pressure cleaning for grease, roots, and stubborn sewer blockages. Galt's older neighborhoods have charm – and original clay and cast-iron lines that roots love.

Galt's older clay laterals are a hydro-jetting neighborhood: roots punch in, a snake opens a hole, and three weeks later you're calling again. Jetting cuts the root mass and scours the pipe so you can see (on camera) whether the clay still has years left. Downtown grease lines and newer-subdivision kitchens get the same treatment for a different reason – buildup, not roots.

Hydro jetting uses high-pressure water to scour the inside of a pipe clean – grease, sludge, scale, and root intrusion that a cable machine just pokes a hole through. It's the difference between a drain that works tonight and a drain that works for years.

It's also not always the right call, and we'll say so. Jetting a pipe that a camera shows is broken or collapsed wastes your money – that's a repair conversation, and you'll see the footage before any decision.

Why Galt calls us

Common questions

When is hydro jetting worth it over snaking?

When the line keeps re-clogging, when grease is involved (kitchens, restaurants), or when roots have gotten in. A snake makes a hole; jetting cleans the pipe wall. If a one-time snake will genuinely solve it, we’ll tell you that instead. In Galt we start from that same read, then look at how the property is actually piped.

Can jetting damage my pipes?

On a sound pipe, no – pressure and nozzles are matched to the line. On a compromised pipe it can make things worse, which is exactly why we camera-inspect questionable lines first instead of jetting blind.

Do you jet commercial kitchen lines?

Yes – grease lines in bars and restaurants are a core use case, and regular maintenance jetting prevents the Friday-night emergency.

Will jetting fix root problems in old Galt clay pipe?

It clears the mass and lets you see the pipe. It does not make 70-year-old clay new. After we jet, the camera tells you whether you've bought years or whether the clay is offset enough that repair (sometimes trenchless) is the honest next step.
